AN
EVER-GROWING REALITY
Everything
started in the 1950s when Giuseppe Grottini decided to buy a mill at Osimo.
It was an old water mill nearby a little river.
Over the years the company developed as a LOCAL FARMING WAREHOUSE.
The next generation, four sons, looked for radical changes and in 1988
a CYLINDER MILL was designed and built to grind durum wheat of the Adriatic
coast, particularly at the foot of Monte Conero. In
order to produce DURUM WHEAT
SEMOLINA to make pasta and for bakery.
Already in 1992 the company paid careful attention to the most specific
demands
and new trends, moving to ORGANIC
FARMING by selecting wheat free off chemicals and/or pesticides.
In 1998 Italcer expanded into new productions by grinding TENDER
WHEAT, SWEETCORN,
KAMUT.
At present cereals stock capacity is 15,000 T, plants have 100 T daily
production capacity and the final product silos have a load up to 400
T.

Particular attention is paid to the production quality control. Actually
the company is provided with a fully equipped laboratory, which, according
to the HACCP procedures, guarantees the respect of health and industrial
conformity standards.
